25th Wedding Anniversary of the Prince von Wied and Princess Marie of the Netherlands
Presented to the royal couple by the firm Begeer and not released commercially.

Obverse: Armorial composition with crowned double coat of arms supported by an angel and a lion. The left shield represents the House of Wied, the right shield the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Below, the Latin motto: “FIDELITATE ET je maintiendrai”.

Reverse: Inscription “1871 / 18 JULI / 1896” within a cartouche formed by floral ornamentation and crossed swords.

Door de Fa. Begeer aan het koninklijk paar aangeboden en niet in de handel gebracht.

Voorzijde: Gecombineerd wapenschild met koninklijke kroon, gehouden door een engel en een leeuw. Links het wapen van het Huis Wied, rechts dat van het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden. Onderaan het Latijnse motto: “FIDELITATE ET VERITATE je maintiendrai”.

Keerzijde: In sierlijk kader gevormd door rozen en gekruiste zwaarden het opschrift: “1871 / 18 JULI / 1896”.
