Obverse:
Bare-headed portrait of King Leopold II of Belgium facing left. Around: "LEOPOLD II ROI DES BELGES". Below the truncation: "A. FISCH".

Reverse:
Circular inscription: "EXPOSITION AGRICOLE & HORTICOLE / FOREST / AOUT / SEPTEMBRE / 1886" within a beaded border. Surrounding agricultural and horticultural symbols: cornucopias with flowers and fruit, a watering can, spade, rake, sickle, wheat, and beehive. At bottom, a small shield with the municipal arms of Forest.
