Obv.: head of Demeter to the left, wearing beaded necklace (off flan) and bifurcate earring, hair bound in sphendone decorated with five small stars; on tranche of neck: APIΣTO (off flan); all in beaded circle.
Rev.: META; ear of barley with six grains on each side, to the left: murex shell.
Well struck. A few marks. Very rare.
An exceptional example of great style; obverse die signed by the artist Aristoxenos (off flan).
