We are offering very RARE in High Grade Taler of Ernst (1806-1826) of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, 1817. This so-called " Vaterlandstaler" was minted for the Marriage of the Duke to Luise von Saxe-Altenburg on July 31, 1817. Low mintage per Krause especially with "EIN SPECIESTHALER" edge variety. This particular coin covered with heavy dark patina with tough of age-bronze toning on still reflective fields, preserved uncirculated details of the legend and the design with perfect details of the Bust and the garments. Rare on ANY auctions in a high grade, this coin was awarded MS 63 per PCGS. Perfect and rare collectible!!!
