Rare and one year issue of Commemorative 5 Mark of Georg II of Saxe-Meiningen - "The Theaterherzog" or "The Theater Duke" for his love and passion of the theatrical production and performance. Choice, sharply struck Mint State coin with substantial original-looking surfaces and deep, multicolored old toning. Fine details remains throughout Georg II's distinctive portrait and the Imperial Eagle. Scattered contact marks in the fields are consistent with the assigned MS 62 grade by NGC, while the strong strike and richly toned surfaces give the coin considerable character and even better for the grade eye appeal. Low mintage - 20000 only - not too many coins are certified as MS on Market. Great collectible and investment find!
