The 'Invalidenhauses' Vienna were build in 1750 by Maria Theresa for the military veterans in the city and were located in the Alserstrasse. With ringlet for carrying, traces of original silvering remaining.
Obv: Double-headed crowned imperial eagle with spread wings, coat of arms on chest
Rev: Invalidenhauses in the background, injured soldier with wooden peg leg reclining against pedestal with military trophy on top - PROVIDENTIA AUGUSTAE - MILES EMERITUS CONDIGNE NUTRITUS MDCCL
