This banknote, with a face value of 1 kyat, was issued in Burma in 1990. It belongs to the VB series and was produced by the Central Bank of Myanmar.

On the front of the banknote, there is a portrait of General Aung San, an important military figure in Burmese history. The portrait is positioned on the left side of the banknote. The mention "Union of Burma Bank" suggests the institution involved in the design or engraving of the banknote.

The back of the banknote features a wooden sculpture depicting two dragons. It also includes the inscriptions "ONE KYAT" and "CENTRAL BANK OF MYANMAR 1", indicating the value and issuing institution.

The watermark of the banknote reproduces the portrait of General Aung San, a security feature integrated into the paper during its manufacture. The dimensions of the banknote are 131 mm in length and 62 mm in width.

This 1990 1 kyat banknote is a testament to the iconography and symbols used by the Central Bank of Myanmar at that time.
