France 2 euros 2026 2 Euro Commemorative Coin. UNC 2026 - 400 years of the French Navy UNC ( non circulé)

This exclusive coincard issued in 2026 brings together a commemorative 2 euro coin accompanied by a medal, all presented in a coincard-type packaging. The set is produced in a limited mintage of 2,026 pieces, making it a restricted-circulation issue, distinct from commemorative series intended for general circulation.

The 2 euro coin is dedicated to the four-hundredth anniversary of the French Navy, an institution whose organisation dates back to the 17th century, under the impetus of Cardinal Richelieu. Struck in UNC quality.

Its weight is 8.5 grams and its diameter is 25.75 millimetres, standardised dimensions ensuring compatibility with the automated monetary processing systems of the member states of the Economic and Monetary Union. The commemorative face incorporates symbolic elements in reference to the French Navy, the military body responsible for defending France's maritime interests and sovereignty over maritime areas.

The medal included in the coincard completes this thematic set dedicated to Richelieu and the French Navy, serving as a numismatic testimony to this fourth institutional centenary.
