Very fine, superb surfaces with lustrous metal, struck on a compact flan, from dies of exceptional style, late obverse die state, traces of plaster in devices.

Jenkins 471

ex-Kunst & Münzen AG (Lugano, Switzerland), auction 5-7 December 1974, lot 66 (described as "variante molto rara", with starting bid CHF 2000); this coin may well have earlier provenance given that a plaster cast was made of it in the past.
