Very rare
Superb pair of uniface trial strikes, retaining their full original mint luster. Extremely rare. References: GEM 173.1. According to the book ‘Essais monétaires et piéforts Français - 2014’: on the observed specimens, the reverse shows fine concentric circles. According to Gérard Petit only 5 examples are known. Silvered aluminium bronze flan. References: GEM 173.2.
