A GREAT RARITY, this impressive multiple Ducat issue stands as a singular one-year type struck for the consecration of the Cathedral of St. Rupert. Displaying intense, intricate artistry upon each side, it offers a facade of the aforementioned cathedral between the figures of Sts. Rupert and Virgil on one side, with a view of eight bishops carrying a reliquary in a procession. Some light cleaning is noted, but the enchanting and wondrous example otherwise stands without any real evidence of wear, retaining a good deal of vibrant luster.
