The 10 French Antilles francs banknote, issued in 1964, belongs to the Y.7 series. This banknote has a rectangular format with dimensions of 154 mm in length and 84 mm in width.

The front of the banknote is predominantly green on a multicolored background. The main scene depicts agricultural activity with a banana harvest. The texts are written in the Latin alphabet.

The back of the banknote illustrates a coastal landscape. On the left, typical houses can be seen. A man and a woman are depicted on the right. A specific overprint mentions the departments of Guadeloupe, French Guiana, and Martinique. The writing used is also Latin.

The watermark integrated into the paper represents a head of an Antillean woman in profile, visible through transparency.
