Conditions of Trade

1. Payment: - for Switzerland: banking transfer to a Swiss account or cash or paypal (+4 % paypal fees) - for EU: EU banking transfer to a German account or paypal (+4 % paypal fees) - for France: banking transfer to a German account (BIC/IBAN) or paypal (+4 % paypal fees) - For all other countries: banking transfer or paypal (+4 % paypal fees) or Western Union. ATTENTION: For security reason we may refuse any paypal payment over Euro 100. In this case please use another way of payment!!!

2. If not personally agreed before purchase done: NO DELIVERY BEFORE PAYMENT RECEIVED!

3. All purchases are governed exclusively by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the ordinary courts of Basel, Switzerland.

4. All items are subject to being still unsold however we are taking all possible efforts to keep our gallery up to date.

6. Place of performance and place of payment shall be Basel, Switzerland. All items can be picked up in our office by agreement. On request we ship worldwide on buyer's own risk. In this case the buyer pays for shipping. We are not responsible for any items lost by the standard postal services if not wished and paid for insured shipping.

7. Guaranty and return privilege: All items are guaranteed genuine (up to the purchase price) if not clearly described as a reproduction, eg. “NP-RESTRIKE” or “restrike” or “COPY” or “Reproduction”. Any coin order may be returned within seven (Europe) or fourteen (world) days of receipt if the item depicted was not the item delivered. The guaranty of authenticity is temporarily unlimited. Coins that have been encapsulated (“slabbed”) by a grading or authentication service may not be returned for any reason, including authenticity, if they have been removed from the encapsulation (“slab”). Books or CDs are not subject to return. No return without reason. In a case of goodwill return, the buyer always bears the shipping costs.

8. Our grading is NO GUARANTEE. The picture is always prior to the grade.

8a. We do not accept the opinion of any other side on the condition as a complaint reason. Also the fully unpredictable opinion of any grading agencies concerning the grade is not binding for us in relation to coins bought unslabbed. This does not apply to the authenticity.

9. These terms and conditions are an integral part of each individual bid and contract of sale.

10. The contract language is German. Only the German version of these conditions is legally binding.

11. Information on milk spots on modern fine silver coins: The light spots (so-called milk spots) on modern fine silver coins, whose origin cannot yet be fully explained, can, according to prevailing opinion, be caused by the unfavorable interaction of the modern minting process with environmental influences. Their appearance is unpredictable, cannot be prevented, and can even occur after slab-grading by grading agencies. Therefore, these spots expressly do not constitute a defect in the item sold!

12. If a provision of this Agreement is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect:

the validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of this Agreement; or
the validity or enforceability in other jurisdictions of that or any other provision of this Agreement.
