Printing press below the monogram "MJPS", with radiant lines extending outward. Around: "VOOR 12½ JARIGEN TROUWEN DIENST TER DRUKKERIJ M.J.P. VAN SANTEN" and "AMSTERDAM".
Reverse:
Laurel wreath tied with a ribbon, enclosing the engraved inscription:
"G. Aquila Jr.
13 October

This privately issued Dutch medal was awarded on 13 October 1896 to G. Aquila Jr. for 12½ years of loyal service at the printing house of M.J.P. van Santen in Amsterdam.
